Skydiving is becoming a very popular extreme sport around the world, both for certified jumpers and occasional tandem jumpers willing to experience an adrenaline rush once in life. We offer tandem jumps ( for persons without skydive certification) , Solo Jumps for certified skydivers and skydiving courses for people willing to get certified.

This is an opportunity to have a real bird's eye view of the magnificent land we all share as humans. Nothing compares to freefalling through the blue skies, especially in a place like Varardero beach. The first few seconds are exciting as no other activity can be, you literally fly though blue skies at high speed, watching the most breathtaking view of the Varadero peninsula and it sandy beaches bathed by pristine waters. After some thirty seconds of flying down with the air mass shaping your body, your parachute is deployed and then, for nearly seven minutes you have a 360 degrees look at a large peninsula, flanked by Matanzas city to the west and Cardenas bay to the east.

Jumps are done from AN-2 airplanes, a Russian made airplane considered ideal for skydiving because its gliding capabilities and the low speed it can maintain while dropping skydivers. ( For larger groups we use an MI -17 helicopter). Our staff is composed by extremely experienced instructors and tandem masters, some of them with more than 6000 registered jumps. The equipment ( parachutes ) used in the Varadero skydive club are regularly checked and well maintained, renovated by new stuff according to manuals instructions ( both the main parachute and the reserve parachute which deploys automatically at lower altitude in case of an unlikely malfunction of the main one ).
